  4. o  User directories
  5.  
  6.    Users are allowed to create user directories, to keep
  7.    Stuff in. (We all need places to put our Stuff). You can
  8.    archive mail messages, posts, or other files. From
  9.    the FILES section you can also LOG your user directory.
  10.  
  11.    PLAN will create a /user/username directory for
  12.    you and allow you to edit your plan file.
  13.  
  14. o  Files in the user directory:
  15.  
  16.    Files that you may find in your directory include:
  17.  
  18.        sig            Your signature file.  Text from this
  19.               file will be appended to any message
  20.               you post. This should not be more than
  21.               five or so lines or people will
  22.               become upset.
  23.  
  24.        mailsig        Your MAIL signature file.
  25.  
  26.        plan           Your plan file. This is displayed
  27.               when another user FINGERs your account,
  28.               and can be changed with the PLAN command.
  29.  
  30.        messages       Archived messages, saved with the WRITE
  31.               command from the READ menu.
  32.  
  33.        mailbox        Archived mail, saved with the WRITE
  34.               command from within the MAIL system.
  35.  
  36.        waffle         File containing BBS commands that
  37.               will be executed as you login.
